Located in the heart of St. Boniface, Winnipeg, shop-kado is a fun, friendly little floral, plant & gift shop featuring made to order bouquets, tropical plants, cheeky and innovative gifts and stunning home decor, with an eye to all things locally created, ethically manufactured or fair-trade certified.

Our origin story began as Norwood Florist, a neighborhood fixture since the 1940s. Shopping habits have changed since 2020 -- as a society we are much more aware of how our individual choices impact the people around us, not just in our neighborhood but around the world, and a more mindful consumer mindset has been the result. Norwood Florist rebranded on Oct 1st, 2022 to "shop-kado" to signify a new direction for this crazy determined little small business.

Shop-kado stocks locally crafted gifts from our talented artisans here in Winnipeg and across Canada, alongside ethically manufactured, certified fair trade items from across the world. Owner/Head Floral Designer Michele keeps our tiny space stocked with lush floral bouquets, unique gift ideas and beautiful home accessories - an inventory that  is curated, small batch, and ever changing.
