Handloom weavers of Barabanki begin the process by preparing the roller on which the warp thread is wound. The weaving process consists of moving the shuttle containing the weft back and forth through the threads of the warp. This is a time consuming process which results in beautiful handloomed scarves and stoles. The weavers work through the cold, harsh winters of the region in order to make their livelihoods and create these beautiful scarves.
